Regarding 0x80070643 error

Dear Group :

2024-01 Security Update Win 10- Version 22H2 KB5034441 .... with error : (0x80070643)

Having the same problem with this update failing .

I assume - " we'll " being Microsoft - will try later to fix this problem . ?? Is something in the works ? It has been 2 months now .

It is mentioned to increase 'the partition' oneself to make the update work .

Just being a plain computer user -- digging around in the 'internal files' -- I do not have the nerve to do .

Any help with this .

Thanks Gary

    Dear Lugoo

I did download the above resize file - but got stuck on where to 'run as administrator' .... all that comes up :

Run with Power Shell . Besides that the strings that do open up in the file are a foreign language to me .

Have no clue how to read them .

Thank you for you reply .

Also how important is this update ? Does it really have to be down loaded ?

And how long will this update keep coming up .

    Regards Gary

Hi, welcome to the Microsoft community.

Thanks for your comment. From what you're describing, it seems like you're having an issue with error 0x80070643 when trying to update.

    3. Right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator".
    4. Follow the instructions to choose the backup path; it's suggested to place this path outside the system disk.

After doing this, try updating again.
