Bluetooth broken after update.

My PC did a Windows update and now I can't connect anything to Bluetooth or delete it. Thankfully I had an old wired keyboard and mouse since I work from home today. My PC decided to update and now I can't connect or remove anything from the list of Bluetooth devices. There is no button to turn the Bluetooth on or off either. Can't find anywhere in the device manager to try and update the drivers if that is the issue. And even tried unplugging the PC, holding the power button while unplugged, and then plugging it back in and restarting. Any help would be appreciated as I would really like to get my keyboard, mouse, and Xbox controller working again. Hey Adam,

I recently upgraded my PC and re-installed windows. Had issues with bluetooth like you are now. I fixed it by updating my motherboard BIOS. A new Windows update (and if you check history on mine at least there is a bluetooth driver from Intel) seems to have broken bluetooth again. I hope a fix will be rolled out soon.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to System - Troubleshoot

    Click 'Other Troubleshooters'

Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter from the resulting page

Check if Bluetooth is then working

    2

If not, open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

At the top of Device Manager, choose View - Show Hidden Devices

Does that show hidden Bluetooth device(s)

if so, right click and uninstall that

    Restart your PC

Check if Bluetooth is then working

    3

If Bluetooth is still not working, go to the Support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the Bluetooth device drivers they recommend.
