Persistent Issue with Windows11 system shutting down under load "Fatal Hardware Error. Component "Memory"

Hey guys,

we have a workstation performing gfx rendering tasks which is running perfectly well in idle mode. As soon as applications with heavier load requirements are started, the system shuts down immanently without blue screen. We have already changed the mainboard, the RAM and the Power Supply - and we are still seeing the same behavior. The remaining components are:

  • SSD harddrive
  • Blackmagic SDI PCI card
  • NVIDIA Graphics PCI card

Please find attached a system report and the minidump file of the latest crash after replacing mainboard and RAM. We are curious if someone can help us determine the cause of this problem. It is quite frustrating given the time and money we have already spent on this. We do have a completely similar workstation running in the same server room next to it and the other system has no such issues.

Thanks Alex

    Hi Alexander,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you.

This bugcheck indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. See details at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

Unfortunately hardware errors mostly cannot be diagnosed using dump files.

Please clean PC and power supply unit from dust. Update BIOS.

Run Windows memory diagnostic tool and switch it to extended mode when it starts.

Check system journal (Event Viewer) for possible errors at these moments, especially Kernel-Power 41 (63) errors. DistributedCOM errors should be ignored.

Check PC operation with only one memory module, then with another.

Try to decrease RAM frequency and/or increase RAM voltage.
