Microsoft Rewards Gift Card Code is incorrect

Question

I don’t understand why there isn’t an email or live chat for customer support. I was given the wrong code because it won’t fit. Its 1 character too long (an extra letter/number). I can’t find a solution unless I speak to a real human representative.

If I remember correctly, you need to activate your code directly in the League of Legends client.

Open the client, and click on the Store. In the Store, you should have a “Purchase RP” button.

In the payment options, you should have the option to activate “Prepaid Cards and Codes”. Click on the option on the left and enter your code.

You should be able to enter and redeem the Microsoft Rewards' RP code.

I tried to activate the code on the Riot Client and the special riot/Microsoft point redeem page. Both did not Work.

On which website are you trying to activate your code? Make sure you enter the code on the League of Legends client, not on the Riot webpage.

I followed all the instructions provided from the email and the only problem is the code, that has 1 extra number.

What type of gift card did you redeem from Microsoft rewards? Not all gift cards can be redeemed in the same way.

Amazon gift cards, for example, have to be redeemed on a special website.
