Hello Jonathan Tyler

Thanks for your reply.

If creating a new account resolves the issue, it is likely that the upgrade process damaged the profile file of the original account.

You can refer to this article to migrate your data to the new account as much as possible.

    Hello,

Yes all browsers have the issue of the address bar missing when uploading files.

The process that I used to upgrade to W11 was with windows update with no customization software.

I also did the DISM and it didn't fix it but making a local account fixed it.

    Hello Jonathan Tyler

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues on File Explorer address bar.

Do all browsers have this issue when uploading?

There are many reasons for the loss of the address bar. We can try to first eliminate the more common reasons.

First, please make sure you have not installed any customization software. This type of software may cause compatibility issues when

upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, leading to the situation you described.

Next, please ensure that you have not made any changes to the relevant registry, as this could potentially cause a similar situation.

You can also try creating a new account to see if the issue occurs within the new account, in order to rule out any errors

in the account configuration file during the upgrade process that may have led to your problem.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

You can also try running basic repair commands to see if there are any issues with system files. Run the following command in

    CMD with administrative privileges.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthSFC /Scannow Please let us know the results of your testing so that we can further assist you in resolving your issue.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
