It is possible to change the name of your Enterprise Application, you can do so by going to your app and selecting properties.

Yes, you right. . I did do that, but it took nearly 1 day before myapps and name in overview change. So I thought its not right way to do!

I'm logged in as a Global Admin and the Name option is greyed out.

Hi sorry don't want to be a necromancer but I would really like to know...
Is App registration/Service principal display name only for aesthetic purposes? I have a lot of registrations that don't follow my naming conventions and I would like to rename them, but I am afraid it will break something.
I am 99% sure the display name is never used and instead the Client ID is used... But I would like to be 99.99% sure. :)

To all those asking, while I cannot tell for sure, I have been freely renaming enterprise apps (when possible) for years, and have not yet experienced any issues I could trace back to this So I would say its pretty save.
