High CPU usage from System KeReinitializeAffinityEx

I have high CPU usage normally ~30% from System as seen in Task Manager. It doesn't cause me a perfomance issue, but it means the fans are constantly spinning and the laptop is hot... Having followed tips from other posts I found the ntosknrl thread that seems respsonible using Process Explorer, however, searching for the name doesn't come with any results on how to resolve it or what it does.

I've run sfc, antivirus and made sure all my drivers are up to date.

Hopefully somone can help!

Thanks Ryan for the response. I installed the Update Preview as you did and unfortunately it didn't resolve my issue.

However, the thread that is now causing the issue has changed from KeReinitializeAffinityEx, to KeQueryMaximumGroupCount.
    Strange . . .

I had the same problem and couldn't find a solution either, but I installed the optional update "2024-03 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2" KB5035942 and it seems to have fixed the problem for me.
