Can you sign in on Windows or are you stuck on the OOBE (Out of Box Experience) screen?

If you are stuck on the OOBE (Out of Box Experience) screen, you can use this procedure to bypass the creation of the PIN creating a local account.

    • In the "Let's connect you to a network" page

1-Press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt

2-Type this command and press Enter:

    oobe\bypassnro

3-Your computer will reboot automatically, and you may need to start the out-of-box experience again

4-In the "Let's connect you to a network" page, click on "I don't have internet" at the bottom of the page

5-Then click on "Continue with limited setup"

6-Then follow the instructions to create a local account and finish the Out-of-box experience

When finished, connect your computer to the internet, configure your Microsoft account, and then you should be able to configure your PIN.

    1-Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Your info.

2-Select "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead".

3-Follow the prompts to switch to your Microsoft account.

The options you gave me to solve the problem aren't working, no action is happening and the screen is at the "create a PIN".

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

This problem could be caused by corrupted files on Windows or corruption in the NGC folder where the Windows Hello settings are stored. You can use these commands to repair the corrupted files and reset the Windows Hello settings.

Step 1: Check if there are any corrupted files on Windows.

1-Right-Click on Start then click on Windows Terminal (admin)

    2- Type these commands.

    sfc /scannow (and press Enter)

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth (and press Enter)

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth (and press Enter)

3- The DISM tool will report whether the image is healthy, repairable, or non-repairable. If the image is repairable, you can use the /RestoreHealth argument to repair the image.

4-Type this command and press Enter:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Step 2: Rename the NGC folder

1-Right-Click on Start then click on Windows Terminal (admin)

2- Type these commands and press Enter after each one:

    icacls C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc /T /Q /C /RESET

    Ren C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc Ngc.old

3-When finished, reboot your PC and try to set the PIN again

If you receive any error message running these commands, please take a screenshot and attach it here to help identify what is causing the problem.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions or the problem persists, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.
