What happens if you exceed your Sharepoint Storage Limit

I have a customer with 1TB Sharepoint site but they have copied up 4TB of data. What will microsoft do. Send an invoice, a warning ?

    There will be an error message above the SharePoint site when your storage contents exceed the SharePoint Storage Limit like the following picture shows.
