I have a few problems I am encountering with my laptop, specifically related to my unresponsive keyboard, and problems with bad Windows updates.

I am facing difficulties with my laptop's keyboard, which has become unresponsive for many months now. This issue arose suddenly and has persisted despite my attempts to rectify it through troubleshooting and i had someone try to help before on microsoft but he said he tried what he knew and maybe someone would be more knowledgeble then him to fix it since everything we did didnt work. so at the moment i been using a wireless keyboard i had to buy (so i could get work done) and my productivity and overall user experience have been severely hampered. I kindly seek your assistance in helping me diagnose and resolve this keyboard malfunction.

Furthermore, I have observed a recurring problem with the Windows updates I receive. Despite regular updates being installed, I have noticed a trend of encountering problematic updates that adversely affect the stability and performance of my system. This has caused frustration and inconvenience, as I rely on a consistent and reliable computing environment for the work im doing. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to fix these constant bad updates that i keep getting, at the moment i have it on pause, but it took awhile for me to get there as i turned off updates using the run and everytime i would restart computer it would turn them back on and keep loading the bad update into my laptop over and over again.

thank you for taking the time in reading this and hopefully help me fix this I have included a picture of device manager so you can see the keyboard issue im getting

    Hello,CrAzOnThEiNsIdE

Welcome to the Microsoft Community! We are happy to assist you.

Understand that you are having issues with your keyboard not responding and your system not updating securely.

Thank you for your attempts and efforts on this issue.

For further troubleshooting, we need you to know your system version number. (You can check this by pressing Windows+R and typing winver)

You mentioned that you have gone through various troubleshooting to correct the problem, but it persists and that you have tried using the wireless keyboard and it works fine.

If you haven't tried contacting the manufacturer, we recommend that you contact your computer manufacturer to perform a full system check of your computer to see if there is a problem with the keyboard hardware.

The other issue is your computer's updates. Available updates are updates that you let the user choose for themselves, and if you want to update, you can do so by checking these updates. If you don't want an update, ignore it.

If you don't want to see the following updates, click on the link below to download the "Hide and Show Updates" tool on the linked page and use it to hide the updates. **http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f22d5fdb-59cd-4275-8c95-1be17bf70b21/wushowhide.diagcab**

If you are having problems with the available updates and are getting any other errors, you can try the following steps first:

    1. Ensure that your device has enough space. 32-bit operating system upgrades require at least 16 GB of free space, and 64-bit operating system upgrades require at least 20 GB of free space.
    2. Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check and repair the integrity of your system files: Type Command Prompt in the search box on the taskbar and select Run as Administrator from the list of results. Type this command, including spaces, in the window that appears, as shown: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth Press Enter. After the command operation runs successfully, you will see a confirmation message at the command prompt that reads "Restore operation completed successfully" or "Operation completed successfully". Note: If you do not see a confirmation message, re-enter the command and try again. Next, enter the command, including the space shown below: sfc/scannow Press the Enter key. Wait a few moments until the sfc scan verification is 100% complete, then close the command prompt. Try running the window.

Hope the above can help you and look forward to your further reply!

    Best Regards.
