Windows 11 Causing Major Audio Issues

I am currently running Windows 11 on my HP laptop. However, ever since I installed Windows 11 automatically, when I try to shut down and update my PC, I have experienced significant audio issues. I have never encountered this problem with Windows 10, which I used for years without issue. Despite attempting to reinstall drivers and selecting the correct devices, nothing has resolved the problem. The sound works well for a short time after reinstalling drivers, but it eventually cuts off again, even though the icon indicates that the sound is on. This is a serious issue; I have discussed it with some friends who are experiencing the same problem. I have tried every solution available online, including troubleshooting, but nothing has worked.

    Hi Safi445,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It seems that the audio component on the device has some unknown conflict with other components.

Would you mind sharing more information about this issue with us?

    • Did the phenomenon appear immediately after the moment you upgraded to Windows 11? Or did it start appearing after some events? For example, system update, driver update, application update, BIOS update?
    • How exactly did the audio problem manifest itself? Is it an unusual popping or current sound? Or is it an indirect stutter?
    • Is the audio driver in an abnormal state whenever you have an audio problem? Open Device Manager - Microsoft Support Error codes in Device Manager in Windows - Microsoft Support
    • Are there any event logs recorded in the device that related to the phenomenon? Event Viewer | Microsoft Learn
    • Would you mind sharing the ideas you have discussed or tried with your friends? This may help us avoid duplicating information.

If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.

    Best Regards,
