Noticing too many FileSyncUploadedFull events

We are collecting all the Operations from SharePoint Compliance center using Office365 Management API and noticing that there are quiet a few "FileSyncUploadedFull" events generated for the files which have been already uploaded to OneDrive.

Is there any reason for this??

Behavior I'm noticing is similar to the question posted here:

Hi @VishPothaganti-6173 ,

According to the article, FileSyncUploadedFull means User establishes a sync relationship and successfully uploads files for the first time from their computer to a SharePoint or OneDrive for Business document library.

Could it be that the user replaced the file with the same name or the user made some changes to the file and saved it in their onedrive ?

Hello MichaelHan-MSFT,

I reviewed the explanation for FileSyncUploadedFull from the above article. lf FileSyncUploadedFull happens when the user establishes sync relationship for the first time, any consecutive edits made to that file shouldnt create a FileSyncUploadedFull, right? I would expect a FileModified or FileUpdated events.

We are seeing about 1.5million FileSyncUploadedFull events from 12000 users in a week. Only about 800k unique ListItemIds in 1.5million events. That means we are seeing multiple FileSyncUploadedFull operations for some of the same files multiple times

Hi Vish,

Just stumbled upon this browsing the same issue. Have you managed to rectify or find out what is causing these events?
