Intune Full Device Wipe passes?

When perform a full device reset in Intune what type or standard does it use for wiping the data? We currently have all Surface devices in out tenant and need to know if is a DoD type of standard. How many passes? does it overwrite all addressable locations with zeroes?

    The standard wipe will not overwrite with zeros, that's the approach from the HDD times. SSD behave different now. They actually do not execute real delete operations to prevent write cycles, marking cells for overwrite (they issue TRIM commands). So a real write would lower MTTF of your SSD and is normally not done. In your case I would ensure that every SSD is encrypted to make sure data is not accessible.
