I need some help

I found this old pc in my garage and wanted to use it for work and gaming.

If anyone can optimize it ill be very happy.

Heres the specs:

Device name Latitude E6530

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3380M CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz

Installed RAM 12,0 GB

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Gaming

    The cpu was released in '13 is not compatible with Win11 (it may run, but not as well due to lack of dedicated drivers)

    Win10 would be OK though. Check with the DELL website for Win10 drivers (Win7 also work)... https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-au/product-support/product/latitude-e6530/drivers

    • The Intel HD4000 integrated graphics will run some games OK, but don't expect too much from it.

    (I see there is an Nvidia driver on their site. If your machine is the sub-model that has an Nvidia dedicated gpu

    it would run games more successfully).

    A much better place to ask that question is Tom's Hardware Forum. The people there love upgrading hardware, particularly if it's for gaming. And these folks really know their ... stuff.
