Hi there, when I enter the BIOS to update the BIOS for my 2013 Asus X550CA laptop that runs Windows 10 version 22H2, but then the "Start Easy Flash" is grayed out and I have no idea how did this happened until I realized that I was entered to BIOS as User and enter to BIOS as Administrator will unlock everything so I head to the Security tab but the "Administrator Password" option is grayed out that I can't even navigate to it, I still have no idea how did this happened, pls help me

That is because the Administrator password has been set in your BIOS, when Asus support provides you with a method to remove that password, then all options in your BIOS will become available.

Thank you for the image, someone has previously set a BIOS password, the only way to get past that is to contact Asus support on the support page for your laptop, they will be able to provide you with a method to clear BIOS and remove that password.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

It sounds like a password was previously set on your BIOS, pleas provide a photo of the password settings you are seeing in your BIOS.
