Hi, My I recently tried to activate my windows 10 pro pc using a product key, didnt work. So i called support about it and they couldnt do anything about it so they redirected me to technical support, im on hold and i hear the usual music then it just cuts out and nothing happens. I retried to do this multiple times and even brought the issue up with support and they dont understand me. Someone help? I did the slmgr stuff and my troubleshooter says that they couldnt connect me to my organisation servers. I also did this command : wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

OA3xOriginalProductKey

but idk wht it does

    Hi, Thanks for replying.

I got my PC with windows pre-installed but not activated, recently i bought a activation key off a 3rd party website and it doesnt work.

When i put the command in it says :

My microsoft store does not work, I believe it is because I spoofed my PC to avoid a ban on a game. I know that my Key Is a Pro key.

    Thanks

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Where did you get your Windows licence was that pre-installed on the PC or did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer?

    2

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog

    3

Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store, enter your product key into that app, what type of licence (Retail, OEM or MAK) does the app indicate for your product key, and what version (Home or Pro) of Windows is indicated for the key?
