I suggest you hide this update to prevent the problem from recurring.
Here are the steps to hide it.
Remember the KB number that caused the issue after updating, then uninstall the recent update and hide the problematic update using the following method.
Search for CMD, find Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.
Enter the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each line.
net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren %systemroot%\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start cryptsvc
Then visit the following page to download the update hiding tool.
Download the Update Hiding Tool.
Run this tool, and select the KB names for updates you no longer need according to the prompts.
