Hi Zpaully.76,

I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I can see here that your File explorer is empty. Sorry to hear that, no worries, I'll do my best to help you.

May I know the version or build of Windows that you're running? (Please press Windows key+R and type winver and hit enter)

Please refresh the explorer.exe and check if that will fix it. You may follow the steps below:

On Windows 11:

Please right click on start menu and choose Task Manager

Please click Details Tab and end the task of explorer.exe

Then click Run New Task and type explorer.exe and hit enter

Please try to relaunch the File explorer and check if the issue persists.

Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

Thank you,

Christine L

I am having the same issue. I have Windows 11 and have gone into task manager to end and start file explorer. But there is still items missing and I can't bring up any apps - for instance the sniping tool to give you a screenshot.
