Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I tried enabling the "Core isolation memory integrity". During restarting to enable this option, the screen displayed "Something didn't go as planned. no need to worry - undoing changes. Please keep your computer on".
The boot menu was stuck in that loop for nearly two hours. After that, the system went blank, and ever since, the system is not been boot up.
This has been a wonderful feature. Thank you, Microsoft. I am angry and immeasurably sad at the same time.
4 years of all my work-related materials are in this system and I am not financially in a position to buy a new laptop

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
When you start your PC now, is the screen just black or do you see the PC manufacturers logo screen, and then the spinning dots to indicate Windows is attempting to start up?
1
If you do not see the PC manufacturers logo screen on startup, just a black screen:
Disconnect the PC from mains electricity.
Press and hold the power button on the case of your PC for 30 seconds.
Wait 30 minutes
Reconnect the power cable and start your PC, does it boot into Windows?
2
If you do see Windows attempting to startup when you turn on your PC:
Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down
Do this twice
On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.
Please try each option one at a time, then see of Windows will boot.
Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Repair
See if Windows startup can repair itself
Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore
Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to
