Hello!

A new pc I've built has started crashing with the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD.

Browsers and games also shut down without errors after a few hours of use.

I have tried to:

  • Clean install Windows
  • Clean install drivers
  • Default BIOS
  • Done Windows Memory Diagnostic

Here's a Minidump file from my latest crash: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuSud8AjOn7hv1Y2jgjLAUdMAoHI?e=tMY7u5 Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I think so. The memory test in Windows actually performs a less stringent test, and if it detects an error, the memory is likely to be faulty.

Hello and thanks for the reply!

I did Windows Memory Diagnostic and got ”Hardware problems detected” message at 21% during the first test pass attempt.

I take it as a faulty ram stick then?

Hello, I'm A&K, here to help.

The information you have provided indicates a memory failure.

Please try running the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to test the physical memory. Select the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type "memory" and select "Diagnose memory problems in your computer".

If the diagnosis is OK, use a program like MemTest64 for further diagnosis.
