I added TW authentication after my Hotmail was compromised but every time I sign in with the app w in my recent activity it shows two sign ins same time and ip address but one says app unknown and the other log in recognizes my browser. I haven't used the outlook authentication app before, is this normal?

Since your issue is more related to your Authentication App, instead of your Outlook desktop client, I removed the Outlook tag here. Thanks for your understanding and hope your issue could be resolved soon.
