Good morning,
I followed the instructions but to no avail. Microsoft store was installed but at the end the same result. It starts almost good and then disappears. Thanks

Hello. I hope this message finds you well. I cannot open Microsoft store. I have to download Affinity products I bought some time ago. I cannot download them from the official website since I do not have the keys. The Microsoft store does not open. I tried with or without VPN, adjusted the time zone(it was correct actually), I did wsreset.exe and nothing helps - when i do the reset - the account appears and then it crashes. when i open the microsoft store online and try to download the affinity products it sends me back to microsoft store - it is a loop :(
Thanks in advance,
Ivailo

Thanks. I uninstalled both apps. I reinstalled the X Box. I will restart the computer - it is running some program and I hope it will finish overnight. I will let you know immediately.
Thank you so much for your help!
What happens if you click the Microsoft Store app? Does it open and close immediately or do you receive an error?
Please try this if it helps.
Please make sure to uninstall the Microsoft Store and Xbox app first.
**Uninstall the Microsoft Store app:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator. Copy and paste the command below then press Enter.
get-appxpackage *WindowsStore* | remove-appxpackage
**Uninstall the Xbox app
Open Settings then select Apps
Under Apps and Features, find Xbox app
Click it then Uninstall
Once the two apps are uninstalled, install the Xbox app from the link below
Restart your computer then open the Xbox app
This will prompt to install the Microsoft Store app
Please check if the issue persists.
Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Thank you so much for the fast reply. Unfortunately, I cannot do the upgrade since this is University property. The IT installed the Windows and upgraded it to Pro version. But I have never had problems with that before.
Would you recommend anything else?
Thanks again,
Ivailo
Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.
Please try performing an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

Few things to check on the PC
**Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
**Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.
