Windows update error code 0x800703e6

Hi, I'm experiencing problems with windows update error code 0x800703e6 , have already tried every fix I could find online but nothing is working so far. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for updating me. The next step would be performing a reset and choose keep your files.

    Note: It will delete all of non MS apps or preinstalled apps. Please check the link below on how to perform a reset:

    Hi Anthony,

    Thanks for your response. Appreciated. I will suggest you to perform in place upgrade or run a repair. In place upgrade will install the new features or available updates for Windows it will also fix corrupted system files. Kindly check the steps below:

    Note: Please disable 3rd party anti virus

    Under Create Windows 10 Installation Media

    Click Download Tool Now

    Click on Run

    Allow the User account Control

    Read the License Terms and hit Accept if you agree

    Choose Upgrade this PC now and hit Next

    Please make sure that it shows keep files and apps and hit Next

    This may take sometime depends on your connection or the performance of your device.

    Please let me know the result.

    Hello Christine,

    I'm currently running Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3324).

    1. I have already run the troubleshooter and it can't seem to find any issues.

    As you can see I can't run the sfc scannow command. I have tried a couple of times and searched for a solution but couldn't find anything working.

    Please guide me through the next steps.

    I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I can see here that you're experiencing Windows update error. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

    May I know the version or build of Windows that you're running? (Please press Windows key+R and type winver and hit enter)

    Please check and follow the steps below:

    1. Windows Update Troubleshooter

    Windows 10

    Please Click Start menu and choose Settings

    Hit Update and Security then Troubleshoot

    Choose Additional troubleshooters

    And select Windows Update

    Finally, Run the troubleshooter

    1. Reset Windows update services:

    Please click start menu and type cmd, right click on it and choose run with admin

    Kindly type the command lines below and hit enter:

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop cryptSvc

    net stop bits

    net stop msiserver

    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

    net start wuauserv

    net start cryptSvc

    net start bits

    net start msiserver

    Please check if the issue persists.

    1. Please try to run the sfc scannow to check if there's a corrupted system file. Kindly follow the steps from the link below:

    Please click start menu and type cmd, right click on it and choose CMD with Admin.

    Type sfc /scannow and hit enter. NOTE: There's a space between c and /
