Alright so this started today, i wanted to increase my fps on my personal computer for fortnite, and i looked at this comment under a youtube video(i also updated my pc before this) which said to turn on "enable above 4g decoding" and "enable re-size bar" so i went into BIOS to do that, and after i turned them both on, i tried restarting my pc, which then got it stuck into the automatic repair loop and then i searched up a youtube video on how to fix it, and on one part of the the video when i tried to enable something it said access denied, and i ignored it and restarted my computer, and now i got stuck with error code 0xc0000001 and nothing works, what do i do,? ive tried doing f8 into f9/9 but it does nothing, and ive tried going into the force advanced repair, but it doesnt work? what do i do?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

The first thing to do is undo whatever changes you made in BIOS, can you get into BIOS?

    2

After resetting those changes, can you use this method to get into the Recovery Environment?

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

    3

If you cannot get into the Recovery Environment, then you will need to create a bootable Windows 11 USB on another working PC and boot your PC from that, then rather than installing Windows 11, select ‘Repair this Computer’ that will give you access to the Recovery Environment from there

In the Recovery Environment on the USB, try each option.

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

to download the Media Creation Tool to create the bootable USB.

Then, Boot your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Boot Order in your BIOS)
