I have an unrecoverable blue screen error stop code clock watchdog timeout as soon as my PC boots after the Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26058.1100 (ge_release) update. When I restart the PC, it restores the previous operating system version automatically without allowing any troubleshooting.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

When your system restores to the previous version are you able to access Windows and is it stable, or are you locked out of Windows?

When the system restores, if you are able to get into Windows, then you should pause your updates, that insider preview build is finding some incompatibility on your system hardware, the best option is to report this on the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) to their developers so they can investigate the underlying problem in that build.

    Hi Dave,

    I appreciate your help.

Yes, it restores automatically to the previous version and is then stable. It happened with the previous Insider build as well. If I skipped one, the problem would be resolved on the next build, but that was not the case. I run Insider on both my machines, and only the Dell is giving a problem. Dell did a Bios upgrade before the first update. I should probably try to go back to the previous version of the Bios firmware and see if that resolves the issue.

    Thanks

    Gert
