So I have recently had to reinstall windows which went a bit messy. After doing that my ssd wasn’t showing up as a boot option but still was detected in system and could install things on it and even have windows on it so I went looking on the internet on how to fix one said to disk part clean the hdd and would have to detect the ssd which did not work and now I am stuck in bios even though I have windows on my ssd which is not wiped. I want to say when I was reinstalling windows I had to make some partitions and delete some it might have messed up my ssd assistance would be awesome thank u also I have tried taking uplugging the hdd so it would just boot with the ssd and also taking the ssd out and putting it back in

    Hey Sumit,

yeah I was just trying to show that my drives were only visible in CSM and not the UEFI. Which is why windows won’t work. When I’m in UEFI both my SSD and HDD are not visible in the boot option nor can I boot into windows.

Thank you - you should not change the boot mode to Other. In Windows 11 it must be UEFI. Legacy is not supported, nor is CSM.

Please tell if Windows works correctly.

Okay so now i changed the UEFI boot mode to the other and got the reboot and select correct drive or something so then i went back into bios and I am on legacy/UEFI mode which has both my drives it but when I try to boot on to either of the drives I get the reboot and select different drive then when I try to just go on UEFI instead CSM then they aren’t there Image

    Hi Kaleb,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Instead of SSD, the Windows Boot manager will appear in the menu for UEFI systems.

Does the Window work correctly otherwise?

I look forward to your reply.
