File Explorer Navigating Issue (Double Processing)

Hi,

My File Explorer has recently been acting up. The issue is when navigating/selecting between folders or files it delays with the busy ring appearing, which it

refreshes two to three times before the system recognizes the selection. So moving between folders or files has been an enormous pain...

Though when navigating in an application for example going through folders and drives when opening or saving a file, no problem there.

(To note I've re-indexed, ran windows in safe-mode to see if the problem was caused by 3rd Party Apps, and cleared File Explorer history with no solution to the problem. As well as reinstalled Windows - option being keep apps/files) Next would be clean install, which I would like to avoid.)

I saw your reply on my other post I was going to do a clean installation of windows but am worried it will wipe all my art files
