A strange folder under Temp folder

Hello, I've recently stumbled upon a strange folder I don't remember seeing before which was located in the Temp folder in Local AppData.

The folder was named "scoped_dir17048_1392502419" and it contained two pictures, one was a profile picture of my mobile Discord account(I have a different account on my PC and phone) and the other picture was a profile picture of my friend on Discord.

Can anyone tell me what is that folder and why it contained these specific two pictures if possible?

Thanks.

I didn't know where else to ask this so I'll ask it here. EDIT: I realized what the right product, version and topic were appropriate for this problem and changed the previous ones to the right ones.

Hello Emanuele Artusi. I usually use Discord in the app but sometimes I use an account in Edge. I've used that account in Edge many times before and haven't seen that strange folder until now. I have Malwarebytes Premium(Trial Version) working and Windows Defender too and nothing was detected.

Note: The product which I set before is not relevant to this problem anymore as I realised the right one and set it to it, sorry if I made any problems from it.

    Hi printafile,

Did you log into Discord from your browser?

As The_Last_DJ said they are likely to be temporary files created by a browser (which should be automatically deleted when closed, in any case, it is safe to delete anything in the Temp folder that is not currently in use - Windows will tell you when trying to delete them).

You can also see Disk cleanup in Windows and Manage drive space with Storage Sense.

To be safe, I still recommend that you do a full scan with Microsoft Defender (depending on the disk you have, it can take from half an hour to an hour and a half).

You can follow this guide: in Step 3 select Scan options and choose Full scan.

If it does not detect any malicious software or processes, you can rest assured. If not or if you still have questions, let us know, we're here to help.

Looking further, looks like Chrome can also generate them.

Hello Printafile! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

Do you use an Opera browser as I believe this is what is generating them?
