Why am I getting this error message while opening a drive in my computer?

Hi,

I got a notification to restart my PC once I opened it. I did. It was showing some kind of an update during the reboot process and after booting, it started showing the popup in the screenshot below:

The popup keeps on showing whenever I open the drive, no matter how many times I've clicked on the Yes button. I've done all the system updates that came for my PC so far. What has gone wrong and how can I fix it? Can anyone help me please?

Thanks and Regards,

Arjun

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

I suggest you do the procedure instructed below to reset the Recycle Bin on the F: drive. This should fix the problem.

    1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Type or paste the following command at the Command Prompt and press Enter:

    rd /s /q F:$Recycle.bin

    1. Open the Recycle Bin and see if the error is displayed. Then open the drive and see if the error is displayed.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
