Okay so i've tried so many things to try and fix this but idk. So i've got both minecraft java and bedrock on my account , recently i had aproblem with the minecraftlauncher where it failed to open but i managed to fix that. Now my problem is i have the java version installed but it does not allow me to install the windows version despite me having it. I've tried downloading it from the xbox app and it gave me the error code 0x80070005.
my laptop is Windows 10 and has the most recent updates.
Things i've tried includes :
-resetting and repairing the minecraft launcher app and xbox app
I genuinely dont know what to do at this point and I'm lost. I can play java just fine , it just doesnt allow me to install the windows version. Also cant put up screenshots for some reason.

You can change your network environment and see whether it's a network issue. If you're using wifi, you can use your phone to share the Internet and download a small game for testing. See whether it works.
If it doesn't work, maybe the Xbox server is temporarily unavailable(for example, too many people are downloading). You can wait for a while and then give it a try.
I have tried loggingin and out of both apps but still no progress has been made.
I have tried dowloading other games from the xbox app but they also give me the same error so i assume it as something to do with xbox ?
i have tried reparing and resseting xbox gamin services and still nothing.
I can install normal apps from the microsft store just fine.

Did you try downloading other games? It could be a network issue or the server is temporarily unavailable.
Also, try logging out and then logging in to Microsoft Store and Xbox App and see whether it works.
