Code 43 on Windows 10

I use a USB cable to connect my pc to my phone in order to get WiFi on the PC since buying a Tp Link didn't work. The PC is now refusing the recognise the USB. So I have no way of updating the PC because I can't get WiFi on it to fix the issue of not having WiFi on it. I've tried the device manager but without Internet, I can't update the driver. I've tried multiple cables, off and on and even restarting, trouble shooting and safe restarting the computer.

Any advice?

    Hi ,

If an unknown USB cable appears when connecting, I recommend using another USB port or cable.

As a last resort, reset the USB controller through the Device Manager in the USB Controllers tab (if it is AMD USB Extensible Host or Intel USB Extensible), right-click and uninstall the driver then restart the computer.

After rebooting, open the command prompt (admin) and run the command: sfc /scannow and test again.

The Tp Link is an TP-Link AC600 USB Wi-Fi Dongle I got off amazon. And no, the USB that isn't being detected is just a charging cable I use to connect my Samsung s20+ to the pc to tether Internet but now the PC won't register it.

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

What is the model of the TP-link Wireless USB.

Is it being used as an unknown USB?
