I have an nvme ssd with windows 10 and plan on installing a Sata SSD with windows 11 on it. I would like

to have the 2nd SSD with it's own EFI. Rather than removing the 1st disk, can i accomplish this without

removing the 1st SSD?

if not, does anybody know if i can accomplish this with Easybcd? if so, does anybody know how to do this

with Easybcd?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you want the second SSD to have its own boot (EFI) partition then the usual method is to remove the first SDD during the installation, other than that you will end up with a dual boot system which will have a blue screen to ask you which version of Windows to boto into.

If you want both drives to have their own EFI partition, then you would not have a dual boot system you would need to boot into BIOS to change the boot order to get into the other operating system

What way do you want the PC to startup with a dual boot or by going into BIOS when you need to change operating systems?
