how to fix the failure of arrow keys to scroll/skip continuously on holding them.

Hello, So recently my laptop keyboard arrow keys stopped working, I use them to scroll up and down pages and this is very inconvenient for me so I'm asking for some help. I can usually just hold an arrow down and it will scroll, but now I have to click the button continuously for it to even move an inch. Also i used to use left and right arrow keys to navigate through lines of texts or skip ahead in vides continuously by holding the left/right arrow keys but they also don't do that anymore.

I understand how annoying it can be when the keyboard keys stop working randomly.

Try the keyboard troubleshooter.

1). Open Start and select Settings > System > Troubleshoot.

2). Select Other Troubleshooters.

3). On "Keyboard", click "Run.

If it doesn't help, try these steps to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver:

1). Right-click Start.

2). Open the Device Manager

3). Expand the Keyboard from the list.

4). Right-click on the keyboard

5). Select Uninstall

6). Restart your computer
