Removing drivers via DDU and reinstalling did not work. I got same freezes but this time had pulsating distorted sound.
nvlddmkm.sys problem
Hello. While watching video or playing game, whole system suddenly freezes and does not react in any way. Current things on screen remains frozen. Also no sound. Only way is to restart the computer. Also, on rare occasions, there seems to be a slight second of strain on the system, while the sound glitch and returns to normal at same time. I'm not sure but all these problems started 2 weeks ago after i connected an SSD from my old computer. I removed SSD but problem persists.
As far as i can tell from event viewer, problem is with video card. When i check dump file, problem seems to be caused by "nvlddmkm.sys".

Completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install a slightly older version of the Nvidia device driver.
A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
