Monitor Hard disk status

Dear Team,

I'm trying to find away to monitor if someone try to remove my hard disk from my desktop or add a new disk to copy the data from existing one.

When I add or remove the hard disk I can't find any log in the event viewer, even if I added extra hard disk, I can't find any evidence on the system about this activity.

Is there away to accomplish this using the windows event logs or does windows log this information anywhere inside the registry?

"If you can see event in the Event viewer, you may click “Properties” and that will bring up all the information about that particular event. if you cannot see when the drive was last modified or removed there, I don’t think there’s a way to find it."

To access Event Viewer select the keyboard shortcut Win+R, type eventvwr.msc and press the ENTER key.
