A virus attack on Windows boot manager.

I got a virus that destroyed WBM. When I boot my computer (about a year old, windows 11). I get the brand logo (Asus) and a swirling circle. About 3-4 seconds the logo flickers, the machine tries to reboot. That can go one indefinitely. I have created a bootable USB but the same thing happens. I can get to the 'BIOS', the boot tab only contains Windows boot manager. No drives are listed.

Any help?

    Hi ,

Sabya here, Independent Windows Adviser. Hope you are doing well.

As you are using Windows 11 so you should be having UEFI screen.

You can create a bootable usb using Windows media creation tool - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

and 8gb or more usb flash drive.

If you have created a bootable usb then you can ignore this step.

In Asus the UEFI BIOS should be F2 or Del. Please press any of them when you see the Asus logo and you should enter the UEFI BIOS screen. You will be able to see the bootable USB that you plugged in. If the bootable usb is not showing please recreate the bootable usb once more.
