Hey guys,

my Laptop (ASUS Zephyrus G14) keeps crashing all the time and I just cant find the issue. I already resetted my Laptop twice as well because I was so desperate but even that didnt help. I have some Minidump files, it would be great help if someone could help me out analyzing them because I have already lost so much time trying to fix the issue.

Here is a ZIP File with the dmp. files

Hello Grover, thanks for getting back to me. I took a look at the dump files, and it seems the problems are pointing to some memory issues and very likely to the CPU. Interestingly, one of the crashes happened while you were using Chrome, and the suspect is AuthenticAMD.sys.

Given that you've already done a Windows reinstall, how about trying a downgrade to Windows 10 to see if the problem hangs around? It could help us figure out if the motherboard is throwing a wrench into things.

    Hello Mr. Santana,

thank you a lot for your help, I did all the things you suggested and there have been improvements, my laptop crashed less frequently than before, but it still crashed a few times and I think there might also be another issue, I got 5 new Minidump files, is it possible that you also take a look at them? And once again thank you for your fast answer.

Hello Grover, thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I am here to help and provide assistance with any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for sharing the minidump files, Grover. From what I observed, the crash dump points to an issue related to the AuthenticAMD.sys driver, specifically the IP_MISALIGNED_AuthenticAMD.sys failure bucket.

Two of those crash dumps are associated with that particular driver, while the other dump is linked to restrictions on memory access. Hence, there might be a potential hardware issue.

To begin troubleshooting, consider updating your system drivers. Additionally, it is advisable to examine your computer for potential overheating. Conducting a memory check is also recommended:

    1. Open the Run dialog by pressing the Windows Key + R.
    2. Enter mdsched.exe and press Enter.

You will be prompted to restart your computer and check for memory problems either immediately or during the next restart. Opt to check now.

Following the restart, the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool will run, examining for memory issues and presenting the results upon completion. After the test concludes, upon restarting, look in the System Tray for a notification regarding the test results.
