nvlddmkm.sys Problem

Hello.

I have been having this problem for almost an year, and couldn't get it fixed. I took it to the seller to get it checked out, but he said that it didn't crash after putting my PC on a hard load overnight.

Whenever I play a game, it crashes. The estimate before it crashes is random, sometimes it crashes in a minute, an hour or doesn't crash within my game session.

It mostly occurs when my memory has a high usage, my ingame settings are too high, or my FPS is too high - I'm still not sure which one of it is, but whenever I lower the graphics it decreases the probability to crash, I think.

I ran WhoCrashed program and it said that my kernel driver needs to be updated. I tried using DDU so many times months ago but nothing helped. I tried every single tutorial, from verifying files in terminal to underclocking my GPU. Nothing helped.

I would REALLY appreciate if anyone could provide assistance.

My specs are:

RTX 3060 12gb

16GB of DDR4 RAM

I5 11600k

Z490-A PRO Motherboard

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Performance and system failures

Try these steps as a last option :

Download the media creator tool from here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Install it on your system and run it.

When asked click on upgrade this PC Now.

Follow the steps on the tool and it should replace any missing or corrupt files with new ones without deleting anything on your system. This should hopefully resolve this issue.

    Hello Jaspreet,

I've checked the memory results through event viewer but it said that it had no errors.

I have also tested my graphics card, and the clock and memory speed were stable.

Do I necessarily have to replace my graphics card or could there be any other causes of this error?

    Hell Nik,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Since reinstalling the gpu driver clean too fails to resolve the issue you may have a faulty card.

That being said have you ran a memory test too? since that too can show up as this error. If not click on the search bar and type in memory and click on windows memory diagnoistics from the results.

Click on restart and check for errors now.

Let the scan run and check the results.
