I had Windows 10 installed on my desktop, windows 11 update required TMP 2.0. After researching it required a BIOS change, which i performed however this made my device unable to boot back into winodws 10. I created a windows 11 instilation media on another device and used this to install windows 11. Unfortunatly i am now unable to activate my device.

Since this is on the same machine i had windows 10 on i was expecting activation to work automatically.

I have written over my previous install of windows 10 since it would not boot and therefore canot retrive mt windows 10 prdouct key.

I am unsure on how to proceed.

Thanks

    Hello phú hoàng thiên.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you want to active your Windows after you update to Windows 11.

Where did you initially obtain your encryption key? Did you purchase it from a distributor, from the Microsoft Store, or did you acquire

it from the computer manufacturer when purchasing the computer?

If you purchased the key from the Microsoft Store, you can contact their Online Chat for assistance in retrieving the key and reactivating your system.

Access this website and then enter Get help->Contact Support.

If you obtained the key from the computer manufacturer (OEM key embedded in the motherboard), you can contact the manufacturer

to assist you in reactivating the system.

For local operations, you can try clicking on "I have replaced hardware" to see if it can activate, as changing the TPM option will lead

Windows to believe that you have replaced hardware.
