2023-12-05T17:11:50+00:00 Just checked event viewer, and both errors are still appearing.
1: Unexpected error calling CoCreateInstance hr = 0x8007045b. A system shutdown is in progress. ID 8193
2: The COM Server with CLSID (4e14fba2-2e22-11d1-9964-00c04fbbb345) and name CEventSystem cannot be started (0x8007045b). A system shutdown is in progress. ID 13
I re-followed your previous instructions, and did not find any file ending bak, nor the file listed above.
Any more thoughts?
Also, is it possible to attach a screen shot to my question, rather than re-type all the above info? Cannot find any option.

2023-12-04T22:14:45+00:00 Hi Marco.
Thanks for your info.
I followed instructions, then ran chkdsk, sfc, DISM, and no problems showed up, so hopefully the VSS error has been cleared.
Thanks, again for your help.

2023-12-04T20:42:32+00:00 Hello Kenneth, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.
The error you are experiencing is related to the Windows Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) service. Specifically, it is caused by an outdated user profile entry in the registry that cannot be resolved by the VSS Shadow Copy Optimization Writer component.
Here's how you can fix this problem:
Press the Windows key and type 'regedit' to open the registry editor.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.
Find and remove all subkeys that end in '.bak'.
Restart your PC
Remember to backup your registry before making these changes to avoid any potential problems: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/topic/how-t...
