Very strange. The generic Pro key cannot be used to activate without a valid licence.
The last characters are for the generic key.
Try ShowKeyPlus from the Store and see what additional licence info is available, if any.

Hello, I purchased a Lenovo laptop that came with Windows 10 preinstalled and activated. For some reason, I reinstalled Windows, but now it's not activating. Can anyone tell me how to activate it again?

During the clean installation, I skipped the part where the key is entered, and the installation proceeded without entering the key.
The key for Pro edition is only valid if the licence from Lenovo was for Windows 10 Pro otherwise it would be Windows 10 Home edition.
Did you try to install Windows 10 Pro or use a key during the clean install.?
Was the laptop new when you bought it. Lenovo provide the licence embedded in the bios for Windows 10.
When you clean install it should just detect the licence then install the correct edition and activate.
Open PowerShell (Admin) and enter slmgr /dlv and post a screenshot of the result.
