PIN reset problems.

In Microsoft account, I have changed my primary email on my account then I removed the old one that I never used to anything.

After restarting PC it is asking me for PIN as always, but this time it will not accept it. It just give an error that says: "your credential could not be verified" followed by "something went wrong and your pin isn't available (status:0xc000006d, substatus 0x. Click here to setup your PIN again).

I would then login to my account with no issues and when trying to change PIN it is giving me another error saying that this is not available right now.

So to summarize I am logged out from my own pc and can't use it as I can't reset PIN. Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hello ,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

A similar phenomenon does occur after changing the authentication method of a Microsoft account. This is because the operation triggers the account security protection mechanism.

If you can currently log into the system normally, you can try the following steps:

    1. After changing your account security information, you may need to re-verify your identity in Windows Settings, make sure there are no words like "Your account need verify" in the Account section of Windows Settings, if there is, click on it and follow the prompts.
    2. Forget and reset: In Windows Settings, click “I forgot my PIN”****and follow the directions to verify your account with password and select a new PIN.
    3. You can follow the steps below to clean up Windows Hello related configuration information. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one.
       net stop WbioSrvc

       cd C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase

       ren *.DAT *.DAT.BAK

       net start WbioSrvc

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
