BSOD with Stop code: CLOCK_WATCHDOG TIMEOUT windows 11 help

Hello! My MSI laptop just got a BSOD error and I'd like to ask a bit of help to understand it better.

The error got stuck at 0% for about 20 min and I force turned off the computer because I need to continue work. It only turned off after pressing the turn on/off button for 10 seconds. After turning it back on it's working normally.

I looked at the minidump folder and I can share the contents, if anyone could look into it to give me more clarification I'd be grateful.

This has happened twice in the last 2 weeks, but I didn't look for any data on the previous error, and there's nothing I can find for that time.

Thank you so much!

    Sorry, I was offline.

Open File Explorer, then navigate to C:\Windows\System32

Paste this into the search box at the top of File Explorer.

    hprpusbh.sys

When you find that file, right click it and select Properties, then select the Details tab

Please provide a screenshot of that Details tab.

    :O

This is the MSI model I have at the moment. I purchased this machine february of this year.

Is there anything you can suggest as my next step? I could bring it to the shop where I bought it (retailer) but this makes me a little confused. Thank you Dave for the insight so far.

    Cheers,

    Angie

This is very strange, you indicate you have an MSI laptop, but the minidump file indicates a virtual driver (hprpusbh.sys) that is usually associated to the HP Remote Graphics utility that is causing the system crashes.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Please upload any minidump files you have, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
