Error code 0x80070002

Hey guys, this has been bothering me all day and last night. I’ve tried to update my pc many times now with the KB5031356 update. No matter what I do it always gets to the restart process, gets to about 7% then starts saying it couldn’t do it, undoing changes. The error code in settings is 0x80070002. Like I said, I’ve tried many different options like scanning for corrupt files, troubleshoots, restarting certain devices in the command prompt and nothing works. I’m on windows 10 pro and I’ve got an AMD build. I don’t know if it’s related but my Intel I211 Gigabit Network Connection driver is also saying “Windows cannot initialise the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)

Please upload your CBS logs to OneDrive and share the link here.

    • c:\windows\logs\cbs\                   <= Zip and upload all files in this folder.

    Additionally, upload the following file:

    • c:\windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log
