Here is the issue as I see it.

When Windows 10 Home was initially set up, three userid's were created . The first userid did not show up under C:\Users but what found was a strange userid (Lanco_000) the other two userid's do show up. The strange Userid looks like the beginning of an EMail address that I use with _000 being tacked on. When I log on to Windows I use the first Userid That was created even though it does not show up under C:\users. However, when I display the Properties for Lanco_000, The first userid shows up under groups or Users in the property box. This has occurred on Two pcs. A desktop tower and a Laptop. The Laptop was running Windows 10 PRO and was just up grades to Windows 11. The Desktop is Running Windows 10 Home,

There are also many folders under C:\users on both PCS that reference folders that were created and are not userids. Is this normal?

Hi, Lanconn6318. I'll be glad to help you today.

This is a normal behavior since Windows 10. Windows truncate the account name while creating the profile folder naming up to 5 characters.

Other folders are created in c:\users path related to Windows capabilities.

Please, let me know if that responds to your question or if you need any further assistance.
