Windows randomly deactivated

Hi I upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro, and for some reason, my Windows became inactivated and I can't re-activate it even using the old key. I did recently changed my hardware, but my windows was still active when I finished installing them.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Thank you

Yes, that indicates a correct full retail licence, because Community is just a user to user forum, we do not have account access, your will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, provide them with your product key and they will be able to re-activate your Windows installation for you.

Thank you for that information, download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store, then enter your product key into that app, what type of licence does that indicate for your product key, is it Retail, MAK or OEM?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Where did you get your Windows licence was that pre-installed on the PC or did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer.

    2

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog
