Does it detect as a drive ok in the BIOS if you access this before boot?
Cannot boot after adding SSD
Trying to install a Crucial PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD into my machine, and windows gives me a Kernel Security Check failure on startup. Pull the new drive and it boots fine

2023-10-31T23:46:29+00:00 I have no other machine available to test the drive in, and I am unable to boot into safe mode as the boot process hangs before I would b abl to shunt into that mode. This is a straight out of the package SSD.

It can sometimes be an issue with hardware, which could be possible in this case.
Have use used the SSD in another device and it worked?
