Windows logon credentials error

After logging in to my windows 11 work PC using the fingerprint or face unlock I get a pop-up saying that windows needs my credentials and I should logon one more time. Also when this happens, windows explorer takes forever to load and I do not have access to network drives. Everything is fine when I login via password. Any ideas what might be causing this? I found a tip on the Internet suggesting changing one Windows registry settings, but that did not help me.

    Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

    I would recommend disabling the pin and fingerprint options you have setups

    Then log out, log back in with the password.

    Then setup the pin and fingerprint again.
