Bitlocker issues

When I start my laptop it asks for the bitlocker recovery key, I enter it and it then says windows has encountered a problem and tries to restore. That then fails and it gives me some options, I am able to boot it in safe mode (after again entering the bitlocker key). I can then run a SFC/scannow which comes back saying it found some corrupted files which were successfully repaired, I then restart and it does the same thing again. What else can I do?

Some places say to disable Bitlocker encryption but I can't do that from safe mode.

I have also disabled all the programs on the startup tab in the task manager which didn't make a difference.

Hi, David. I'm sorry to know you're getting this boot issue.

Please boot again in safe mode, then open CMD as administrator and run the following command:

    Chkdsk c: /f

Press enter and confirm to perform the scan at the next reboot. When the scan is done, try accessing without the safe mode.

Please let me know if that solves the issue.
