So frustrating to get locked out of your own device. Support is unresponsive.

Other forums may have found a workaround solution:

Bitlocker url giving me a trace ID error. - Microsoft Community

    Recovery Key - Microsoft Community

Check if your OneDrive is full and locked. I had to delete files from my OneDrive to get under the limited storage capacity and then I was able to see my Bitlocker keys. I know it doesn't make any sense but it worked for me.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply and providing Information.

I can understand your situation , But in this case you may need to wait for some time and also please try to login to different Computer or Mobile phone browser to get Bitlokery keys.

It really doesn't work on incognito mode too. I have tried 3 different browser and keeps showing same trace id error.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

For the past few days, some users have been complaining that they are unable to access the webpage where they can retrieve their Bitlocker keys from their account. This appears to be an intermittent server-side issue; try viewing the page using an Incognito (In-Private) browser to see if it becomes accessible then.

Its saved in one drive also - https://onedrive.live.com/recoverykey

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try our best to resolve your issue.

    Best Regards,

    Prakash
